English version of "Tsurezure zatsugusa Part5" E-book version has been published
For those reading this for the first time, this is a diary and an essay. Also, depending on how you look at it, it may be said that it is a kind of monologue collection based on life experiences so far.

性への目覚めと自分との葛藤
今週のお題「ほろ苦い思い出」
高校生のときにある勉強塾に通っていた時期がある。そのとき、ある別の高校から女子高校生も来ていて一緒になることがあった。顔を合わせば挨拶ぐらいはした覚えはあるが、そのうちに、モテそうもない自分の勝手な思い込みかも知れないが、その女子校生の目つきや仕草から自分に好意を寄せているように感じ始めた。
思春期の最中にあり、男子と女子がお互いに好意を感じることは、本来、極めて自然なことである。しかし、当時、少なくとも自分に関しては、受験という課題を抱えていることも事実であった。すなわち、わざわざ塾に通っているのも受験に合格するためである、それは、親に言われたからだけではなく、自分の意思でもある。
私は、その女子に好意を感じないわけでは決してなかったが、自分に次のように言い聞かせて、極力、無関心・無視を装うことにした。「おまえは、何のために塾に通っているんだ？勉強するためだろう？女の子とイチャイチャしていていいのか？」と。
実際、イチャイチャどころかろくに言葉も交わさず、そういう態度をとり続け、明確な意思表示もできずにいるうち、その女子校生は「私には関心ないのね・・・」と思ったのか、いつのまにか私の前から去って行った。
性欲がありながら、女性と付き合うことに、あまりにウブで臆病だった「昭和の思い出」であり、わが青春のヰ（イ）タ・セクスアリスでもある。
防災用品 期限切れ非常食 試食結果報告 第1報
天災事変頻発の今日この頃である。他人事とは言っていられない、いつ身近に起きても不思議ではない状況にあると感じる。そこで、甚だ不十分と思いながら所蔵している防災用品の中でも、特に消費期限のある非常食（食材）について、あらためて確認することにした。
非常食に関しては、いくら非常食とは言え消費期限があり、いつまでも保管したままではダメで、適当な時期に（古い非常食を新しい非常食に）入れ替えをしなければならないと分かってはいた。しかし、実際には、その入れ替えのタイミングを引き延ばし続けてしまっていた。
その理由の一つは、本来、非常時すぐ持ち出せる場所に置いておくべき防災用品を、家の中でも最も邪魔にならない奥の奥部分にしまい込んでいること等がある。これは、防災準備の鉄則に反したお粗末な体制とは思うが、残念ながら悲しい現実である。
この現実を直視し、埃にまみれた防災品関係の所蔵箱などから非常食を引っぱり出すことになった。今回の報告対象は、消費期限を1年以上経過した、お湯か水を注ぐだけで「ごはん」ができるスグレモノ（画像参照）である。
次回、作り方とその留意点および試食結果について、報告したいと思う。
